12 of the Best… Future Stars under 30

The next generation start early these days. I have a pretty good track record for spotting acting talent at the very start of their careers. Don’t we all? Nothing is more annoying than a child actor who can’t cut it. And nothing is worse than seeing someone who doesn’t seem at home on the big screen, but may have been forced into it in some way because of how they look. Hollywood is fickle, and the pathway of US and British TV isn’t much better. However, when a young star outshines their older co-stars, it can be a powerful thing indeed!

This 12 of the best looks at those who look not only at home, but blessed to be anything they want to be. It’s an impossible ask. I could have made this list 100 long. But, by tradition, it has to be 12. It will see established stars that you can’t believe are still under 30 side by side with those who are just emerging from TV land into much bigger things. All I ask is another 10 years to prove me wrong. Not all of them will be the biggest stars in the world by 2030, but I do believe they have that potential. If you think I’m overlooking someone obvious, then you know what to do… comments always welcome.

Not going to go into big detail why I am representing this dozen; just a quick reference to their best work. If you don’t know a name, IMDb is your friend. Beyond that, you have to just trust me. Shantih Kx
